Alexander & Natasha!

I first met with these two at a Starbucks on a rainy fall day a full year before their wedding! We clicked - photo pun intended ;) - and they decided to allow me to document their special day!

And what a day it was! Beautiful blue skies and bright sunshine greeted us. The bride and groom got ready at the Shilo Inns Beaverton and then we made the quick drive over to the Beaverton Elk’s Lodge for the ceremony and reception.

Alexander and Natasha chose not to do a first look, and so saw each other for the first time as the bride’s father walked her down the aisle. It was very obvious, at that moment, just how much love these two shared! I was very happy to have a friend of mine second-shooting for me, so that we could get BOTH bride and groom’s expressions at that moment… it was magical!

It was a beautiful ceremony, and a fun reception with LOTS of dancing! Alexander is also a DJ, so, of course, that was a pretty important piece! The bride’s family traveled all the way from Scotland to join her and celebrate their new beginning.… and to keep the party going as long as possible. Her brother commented to me that Scottish wedding celebrations go on until the wee hours!

PS…. This is only about 1/3 of the photos that I wanted to share. Sticking to a 30-photo blog template limit is challenging! =D
