The Ultimate Bachelorette Bash! ~ Boudoir Photography Party ~ Vancouver, WA

Before we jump into this blog post, take a moment and think about some of the bachelorette parties you've been to...

What types of activities were planned for the bride and her friends?

Many brides have close friends there to plan the party for them, so their bachelorette activities tend to match the activities the bride already enjoys! If the bride is outgoing and loves to dance, her party might include going out for a night on the town and letting loose. Or if the bride loves to stay in and have self-care time, there's a good chance that her friends planned a spa day or at-home slumber party as part of her bachelorette activities.

Using the bride's interests to plan her party is a guarantee that she'll have a fun time... but you'll also end up with activities that she's done before. (And chances are... you've done them before, too!)

So if you're a bride who's looking for a one-of-a-kind idea for your own bachelorette OR a thoughtful friend who's planning a unique party for your friend, I have some inspiration for you!

Instead of planning an activity that the bride already does in her daily life, why not plan an activity that allows her to try something TOTALLY new... like a boudoir party?

With my boudoir party option, now you can! If you book a boudoir party for a bachelorette event, I can accommodate the bride and up to five of her friends. You'll each have the opportunity to pose in front of the camera (by taking turns), cheer each other on, and celebrate the bride... maybe even with some champagne! And we can't forget about my favorite reason to book a boudoir party... All of your closest friends will be there to give you encouragement if you have any first-time jitters or feel nervous to strip down.

These reasons were exactly why my client and her friends decided to book a boudoir bachelorette party!

Five good friends got together and decided that a boudoir party would be a VERY special (and unique!) way to celebrate their friend's upcoming wedding, so they booked a party with me. Once I learned how many women would be joining, I made sure to rent a bigger studio space for the afternoon. I ended up choosing Studio 77 in Vancouver, Washington thanks to Jennifer Crowley who has an amazing photography business herself! Renting this gorgeous space was the perfect way to make sure everybody would be comfortable and have enough room to relax when they weren't in front of the camera.

On the day of the session, the entire group showed up with smiles, confidence, and plenty of champagne! They each had an amazing time hanging out and celebrating while taking their turns in front of my camera. One of the attendees of the bachelorette party decided to share her images with all of you, so that's the model we'll be highlighting in today's blog post!

Ahead of time, this participant let me know that she was a fan of silver satin, dark styles, and comfortable poses... and these details guided her session! We used the bedroom set, and I talked her through poses that mostly had her laying on her back or side. You would definitely be surprised by the variety of photos you can take with your model simply lounging!

She posed with her back on the bed and her legs resting on the floral wall behind her. We also took some photos with her backside to the camera, and these shots highlighted the curves of her body! While she was sitting and resting on the bed, I also captured images that focused on her face... Her stunning eyes and beautiful hair took center stage in those photos.

I'm so honored that this group of amazing women joined me to celebrate their friend's upcoming wedding. Thank you all SO much for trusting me to give you a fun bachelorette experience! A huge thanks also to Jennifer for hosting us at Studio 77.
