Wintler Park Engagement Session ~ Vancouver, WA

Last winter I received a wedding photography inquiry from a couple in the Bay area of California. Faith and Eric were planning a wedding in Brush Prairie, Washington (where Eric’s family was located) and were planning their entire wedding from quite a distance!

They had originally reached out to another photographer, but she was unavailable for their date, so referred them to me! (I’m part of an amazing collective of women photographers in the Vancouver-metro area, and we support the concept of “community over competition”. We are constantly referring and passing along contact information to make sure that all inquires end up with an amazing photography experience!)

Faith and Eric made a trip up to the Vancouver area in the spring to visit family and do some in-person planning, and we were able to schedule a time during their trip for their engagement photos!

I sent over several location suggestions for them to review, and we ended up meeting at Wintler Community Park for their session.

Wintler Park is one of my favorite session locations because there are so many backdrop opportunities! From greenery and park benches, to a tree-covered walk, down to a sandy river beach… I love it all and get so inspired!
