The More the Merrier! ~ Boudoir Photography ~ Vancouver, WA

When you think of booking your first boudoir session, what’s holding you back? Maybe you can see yourself booking a session, but you know you’ll need a good amount of support and encouragement during the shoot to give you that extra boost of confidence…

Whether you’re having your first session or already have plenty of experience with boudoir, there’s nothing better than having your own personal cheerleader in the studio to hype you up and help you step into your most confident self!

The good news is that I’ll be there to encourage you during the session and let you know that you’re doing SUCH an amazing job with the poses and look stunning, too… I’m a photographer, but I swear I’ve also become a cheerleader after years of shooting boudoir sessions!

Especially for first time clients, though, it can also be helpful to have a friend around for extra support. And now you might be wondering… How would that be possible?

If you have a friend who’s also interested in booking a session with me, we can book your sessions back to back so you can double up! We can also book you and your friend for two separate days if you’re not able to come in together.

Either way, it can be SO helpful to know that your friend is going to have a super similar experience. This can help with any nerves that may come up. Plus, you two are able to get excited about your sessions and plan outfits/accessories together if you’re not totally sure what to bring along… Having someone to brainstorm your looks with is an awesome bonus!

That is exactly what one of my recent boudoir clients planned! She was interested in booking a session with me, and she also had a friend who wanted to book, too! Have a friend book, too, is a perfect way to get EXTRA excited about each of your sessions! Shop together, to go happy hour after, turn it into a fun girls day/weekend! I especially love it when I become a vacation destination for a couple of friends… which DOES happen from time to time! =)

Once we got started for the day, Emily Filice did my client’s hair and makeup, and she looked so gorgeous with the finished look! Then, we took some shots in the living room set, and she wore a gray flannel with a black satin set for these photos. We ended up shooting in the living room with and without the flannel… Flannels and jackets are SO versatile in boudoir sessions because they’re so easy to take on and off depending on the type of feel and look we’re trying to capture in our photos.

My client also decided to use the curtain set during her session. These final shots came out looking especially glowy and soft with the light shining in behind her! The flowy purple outfit was an awesome pick for this curtain set and added to the airy feel of the photos. Finally, we took so many shots using the bedroom set! My client wore a black set, and we used the sheets as an accessory in many of the shots. We also captured some fun “in the sheets” photos… These photos always tend to be a client favorite!

I really love the variety of outfit combinations and sets that we used in the studio for my client, and I’m SO happy that my client had a fun experience! Thank you so much for joining me… It was great to be your cheerleader for the day and hype you up!

If you’re also considering a boudoir session but think you could use some extra support, just remember that I’m always here to encourage you and make sure that you have an amazing experience! You could also book your session with a friend which will guarantee that you have double the support. Either way, there’s no way to go wrong!
