More Than a Mom is a photography project celebrating the layered, complex identities of women beyond motherhood.
Through intimate portraits and personal stories, this series honors the passions, careers, dreams, and histories that exist alongside — and sometimes get lost beneath — the title of “Mom.” It’s a visual reminder that every woman (in every stage of motherhood — or outside of it) is a whole person first: an artist, an athlete, a lover, a dreamer, a leader.

My favorite part of photography has always been watching women leave differently than they arrived.
They walk in nervous, unsure, maybe disconnected.
Then something shifts.
They stand taller. Their eyes brighten. They remember something powerful about themselves.
That transformation is why this project means so much to me.
