Remember the days of Myspace and wasting hours of your life filling out silly little quizzes and questionnaires about your life and preference? Or am I totally aging myself right now? =) Well, either way, I saw this little going around the interwebs and thought it would be the perfect Valentine’s post and provide a little “get to know your wedding photographer” information, too!

Our Story

How’d you meet: Craigslist personals section… yup, i totally went to Craigslist looking for a date. Not ashamed. it worked! =)

First date: Shari’s for a late dinner. I had just gotten off of work and he sent me an instant message asking what I was up to. I told him that I was about to grab myself some dinner, and he asked if I wanted to meet up… so we did!

How many years together: Our first date was in 2008 (the rhyming helps me remember!) and we were married in 2010… so we’ll be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this summer!

Age difference: 363 days! Our birthdays are the same week in September… though he was born the previous year.

Who was interested first: I’m going to say him… I was a little skittish. But he always seems to know what he wants and doesn’t waste time to take the leap of faith.

Who is taller: I am… plus, I swear that he’s shrunk in the time that we’ve been together! Or, maybe, he just wore platform shoes for years and I never noticed. **wink**

Most impatient: I going to say me. =D He’s pretty chill.

Most sensitive: Also going to claim myself for this question. But I’ve made peace with my sensitivities and have figured out how to make it work in my favor!

Most daring: Also going to say me! (I’m on a roll here!) I love adventure and trying new things!

Loudest: Our kids… does that count? The are SO LOUD… ALL THE TIME. My husband and I are pretty quiet people. Having kids has been an adjustment!

Most stubborn:: This one is difficult to say… we both have our moments!

Falls asleep first: Him. Completely. I often feel the need to go to bed first so that I can fall asleep before he comes to bed. If we are in bed at the same time, I find myself getting annoyed that I’m not sleeping and he’s over there in slumberland already!

Who cooks better: Me. =D

Better morning person: Probably me. Though, really, we are both night owls… mornings have been another parenting thing that we’ve had to deal with.

Best driver: This one completely depends on who you ask! LOL

Most competitive: Hmm… that’s a tough one. I’m actually going to say him. I tend to stay away from competition and controversy, but he enjoys the challenge.

Married: 2010, barefoot on the beach in Waldport, Oregon!
