What are the top 4 locations in Vancouver for your branding photos?

This question is impossible to answer.

Why? Because everyone and every business is different. Your vibe is different. Your goals for your photos are different. The job that you do/services that you offer are different. The “best” place is not a thing across the board.

That being said, I do have some recommendations in terms of TYPES of places to consider when planning out your photos! Those are outlined below for you!

1. Your Office/Business Location

This will always be my number one recommendation for (at least part!) of your branding session. Behind the scenes images are SO important for your brand image. Your customers/clients want to see what you do and how you do it… and that includes the space you do it in! The fact that you’re a graphic designer with a love for Ninja Turtles or an accountant who loves (and displays images of) National Parks will be an interest point and opportunity for connection with prospective (and current!) clients. These type of details humanize you and make it a little less scary for some to reach out and inquire about your services.

2. My Studio

If you’re looking for branding images that are less “lifestyle” and candid, and a little more prepped, polished, and minimalistic, then a session in my studio may be a good fit for you. Studio images may also be great for product shots in a “styled”/creative set up or for online shopping catalog photos that require each product to be photographed uniformly.

3. Out in the “World”

If your brand image is better suited for an outdoor session, we live in a great spot for that, too! Vancouver offers several different types of “outdoor” looks within just a few minutes drive. From urban cityscapes and artistic murals to rivers, lakes, and wooded natural areas… we have LOTS of options. If this is what you’re hoping for, I have lots of suggestions for locations, too, You are never required to scout your own spot (that’s part of my job!) but if you have something in mind, I always love to hear your thoughts!

4. In your “Happy Place”

Maybe you HAVE an office that is attached to your Google listing, but the bulk of what you do happens in a coffee shop, at the library, the neighborhood pub, or your living room couch… these are all photo session location options as well!
